The Chester office is looking to strengthen its audit team, bringing in a Senior with solid technical grounding – whether from a Big 4, Top 20 or mid-tier background – to support delivery across a varied client portfolio and continue the firm's track record of developing talent internally.

Audit Senior – Responsibilities

Audit delivery

• Plan, execute and lead audit fieldwork across a varied portfolio of clients.
• Ensure work is completed to a high technical standard and within budget.

Client relationships

• Act as a key point of contact for clients during the audit process, building trust and rapport.
• Identify areas where the firm can add further value beyond the audit itself.

Team support & development

• Support and coach junior team members on-site, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture across the Chester office.

Technical & compliance

• Keep up to date with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the manager/partner group with technical queries and file reviews.

Audit Senior – Requirements

• ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist, with solid external audit experience.
• Background in a Big 4, Top 20 or mid-tier practice.
• Confident managing audit fieldwork and liaising directly with clients.
• Strong technical grounding with the ambition to progress to Manager.

Audit Senior – Benefits

• Salary: £43,000 - £45,000
