I'm working with a successful and highly respected accountancy practice that is looking to add an experienced Accounts Semi-senior/ClientAccountant to its growing team in Chester.

The Role
You'll manage a varied portfolio of clients, building long-term relationships while delivering high-quality bookkeeping, accounts and tax services. No two days are the same, giving you the chance to develop your technical skills across a wide range of businesses and industries.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll have the autonomy to take ownership of your work while receiving the backing you need to continue progressing your career.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Bookkeeping and VAT return preparation.
- Corporation tax computations and returns.
- Supporting personal tax work when required.
- Building trusted relationships with clients and providing practical advice.
- Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Using leading cloud-based accounting software including IRIS, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
What You'll Bring
- At least 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
- AAT qualification.
- Strong bookkeeping and accounts preparation experience.
- Confident using Sage, Xero, IRIS and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A proactive, organised approach with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding client service.
- Full UK driving licence.
