Management Accountant

We're working with a growing company in Chester who are looking for a Management Accountant to join them at an exciting stage of their journey.

This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Directors and project managers to shape financial decisions as the business scales.

• Management accounts & reporting - Preparing monthly management accounts including balance sheet variance analysis, P&L analysis, cash flow forecasting, lead month end and year end close and stock variation.
• Financial Processing & control - Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers, inputting and posting all purchase & sales invoices, bank posting,raising proforma invoices, supplier payment scheduling and issue remittance advice's with payroll inputting and daily bank reconciliations.
• Credit Control - Monitor incoming payment dates and proactively chasing customer payments by managing debtor due days, overdue escalation, resolving invoice queries and disputes.
• Tax & compliance - VAT returns and maintaining accurate records for HMRC queries.
• Leadership & Communication - Build strong relationships across with the business. Handling customer and supplier questions whilst maintaining strong relationships.
