Paralegal - Private Client DepartmentFull-Time Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Paralegal to join our Private Client Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long-term career in private client law and work closely with experienced practitioners in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will assist the Head of Department with the administration of trusts and provide support to a returning solicitor across all aspects of private client work. We are particularly interested in candidates who are keen to progress their career and ultimately qualify as a solicitor specialising in private client law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the administration and management of trusts.
  • Supporting fee earners in all areas of private client work, including:
    • Wills
    • Lasting Powers of Attorney
    • Probate and estate administration
    • Trusts and tax planning
    • Court of Protection matters
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and third parties.
  • Preparing files and documentation for meetings and transactions.
  • Maintaining accurate records and case management systems.
  • Undertaking legal research as required.
  • Providing administrative support to the department to ensure the efficient progression of matters.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in a legal support or paralegal role is desirable, ideally within a private client department.
  • A genuine interest in private client law and a desire to build a career in this area.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
  • Professional and client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
