Year 4 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Birkenhead for a Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a maternity leave cover basis, with an immediate start available.

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons that inspire pupils to reach their full potential. You will work closely with an experienced support team to ensure all children receive the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.

• Full teaching responsibility for a Year 4 class
• A supportive and approachable Senior Leadership Team
• Interviews with the SLT taking place shortly
• Two Teaching Assistants working within the classroom
• A small number of SEN pupils, including two high-needs children
• A well-resourced and supportive learning environment
• Friendly staff and a positive school culture

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• The ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs
• A collaborative and positive approach to working with colleagues, parents and pupils
