Management Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing private equity-backed organisation on the Wirral to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a business during an exciting period of growth.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll support the delivery of accurate financial reporting and provide key insight to support business decision-making. Responsibilities include:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting
* Cashflow forecasting and VAT returns
* Board and stakeholder reporting
* Payroll journals and expense reconciliations
* Audit support, budgeting and forecasting activities

* CIMA, ACCA or ACA studier, qualified, or qualified by experience
* Previous management accounting experience
* Strong Excel and systems skills
* Proactive, organised and detail-oriented
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
