Job Title: KS2 Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Prenton, Wirral
Pay: £105-125 per day
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Term-Time
Contract: Starting ASAP

Hays Education is working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Prenton that is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2. The school provides a positive learning environment and is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

Your new role

As a KS2 Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support teaching and learning in Years 3 to 6. Your responsibilities will include delivering targeted interventions in English and Maths, supporting small groups and individual pupils, preparing resources, and helping to create an engaging classroom environment. You will also assist with monitoring pupil progress and promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum, particularly English and Maths
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
